Steven Joyce entered the New Zealand House of Representatives in 2008 as a member of the New Zealand National Party. Before he got into politics, Steven and a group of friends started their own radio station, and with business partners built up RadioWorks over 17 years. By the time he sold in 2001, RadioWorks had 22 stations and 650 staff – he knows a bit about what it means to be in business, and what it takes to grow.

Now, Mr Joyce holds the portfolios of: Economic Development; Novopay; Regulatory Reform; Science and Innovation; Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment. Hear Mr Joyce share his thoughts on where business will see itself in 2040 and what the future holds for our ever increasing number of SME’s.
